The Catalan architects and Eugenia Estela Camprubí Santacana have designed an innovative hotel in the village of Mont-Roig, in the middle region of Matarraña (Teruel). This hotel is named after the nearby Baroque monastery and its presence has been the source of inspiration for the hotel quiet, almost monastic.
Simple, minimalist architecture and interior design essential but comfortable, Consolation hotel seeks peace in the stunning architecture as sober as innovative. Fine materials, architectural interiors, little furniture and no stridency we define the style of this apartment on the run from the aesthetics of rural hotel use.
The property consists of a central building with common areas, plus 10 separate buildings in the form of cube. In the main building is a restaurant which serves seasonal dishes Matarraña region, but also the kitchen, a meeting place where food and drinks are always available. The cube shaped buildings are isolated rooms, which have 36 m2 of total privacy, including visual, as they have a large window with stunning views of the region. Besides the rooms cube, the central building has two additional rooms.
