Environmentally Friendly House and Elegant Building

The house is located between the old trees and traditional houses of the community of Forest Hill , and yet is situated on a gently sloping site , the house is environmentally friendly and elegant building strategies architectural composition. strictly Oriented on a Cartesian axis , the housing is designed to maximize natural lighting , incorporating a design that combines a high performance building wrapped in a passive solar design to take advantage of the context within its northern orientation . A double-height window on the south facade allows the winter sun in and warm the house. A triple- wall height inside, captures solar energy and keeps the house warm during the morning. Along the main facade is located a screen that gives privacy to the house , consisting of 475 glass panels 19mm thick. This screen allows maximum diffusion of light inside and at the same time provides privacy without the need for blinds. Also this screen is one of the key design elements of housing, since even in the cloudy days of the year , changes color and texture both inside and outside . This screen gives the impression of being behind a waterfall. Outside there is a terrace with pool. Cascada The house combines the facades as a protective sheath with a passive solar light design . The sun heats the house naturally during the winter, this was achieved through the openings of the south façade , which allow sunlight to enter and penetrate the stone walls and so heated, in turn keeping the house warm during the night. During the summer the house will be maintained with climate comfort due to the design of which projected surplus volumes on the same house, this combined with passive ventilation .
