2010 we reported, this strange object located in the Paseo de Recoletos, is not that the point of information on an artistic Madrid Open. Built in record time, on a budget and prefabricated materials, is undoubtedly a proposed alternative to the typical experimental kiosk, designed by the architectural firm Ganjavian Kawamura.
Its aim is to be present for a time in a busy area to distribute information to walkers on Madrid Open. Also, you can host a small event. We reported has been designed as a mini-flag industrial deposit made with prefabricated FRP (fiber reinforced polyester glass). A cylindrical structure have been two big holes for access and multiple small portholes serve as mini-windows. Their presence, halfway between the ready-made and urban installation looks for a robust yet cozy.
Kawamura-Ganjavian is an architecture and design studio founded in 2000 by Key Portilla-Kawamura and Ali Ganjavian. From Madrid, carried out projects around the world and his work has been published widely in international journals and books of architecture and design.
