H House, a Glass Free Walls

“H House” is a very special home designed by Wiel Arets Architects in Maastricht, the Netherlands, for an eccentric pair of artists. Externally, H House is offered as a hypnotic presence, able to surprise and as a mirror to reflect light and surrounding nature, landscape and blending magically multiplying the nature and artifice. But just outside this house is not surprising: in fact inside the surprising absence of walls, replaced by pillars of wise distribution. In keeping with the surrounding landscape, all within H House is spotless, pure, white in a word, and absolutely spacious, airy and bright.
