Italian Contemporary Design in a Traditional Korean House

From the outside this home looks like in all respects to the traditional Korean house, with its carved wooden door and the pagoda roof. And in fact it is a traditional house in every respect, even if completely renovated.
Located in a trendy neighborhood in Seoul, this house reinvented by the owner, architect and designer Simone Carena, hides a soul profoundly contemporary, inspired by the Italian design and with solutions and absolutely unique, unusual angles. The living area has resulted in such a way that unusual, but fun and informal, the desk is also used as a dining table and all you’ll find a color that was chosen to bring nature indoors, green bamboo. The intention of the architect to create an environment that was perceived as the set of a film set is quite successful, especially in the days to effect loft, in a style that contrasts sharply with the space nicely, but outside of the house.
