Karim Rashid for DTS

Karim Rashid is a well known international artist in interior design, fashion, furniture and lighting. Born in Cairo, but half Egyptian, half English, grew up in Canada. It is currently developing his work from New York. Has worked very important brands within the fashion and design as Alessi, Dirt Devil, Umbra, Prada, Miyake or Method. It is known for bringing his democratic design to the masses. Already have on your resume more than 2,500 products. Winner of the multitude of design awards, has a permanent exhibition in 14 museums worldwide, among which are the MoMA and SFMOMA. He has worked as a professor of industrial design for 10 years and now, besides the design, is dedicated to giving lectures at universities around the world and writing books.
