Minimalist apartment in Amsterdam, interior architects I29

Original structure and functionally compartmentalized too complicated it became, after the intervention of the Netherlands study I29 l interior architects, in a warm apartment filled with light and spacious. The house, a duplex of 150 m2 in which lives a family of four, is located in an elegant building in the south of Amsterdam.
Undoubtedly the most spectacular part of the house is painted white volume that separates / connects the kitchen and dining area. It is composed of a series of cabinets with doors, openings are irregular and of different sizes cut by laser, producing a dynamic effect of empty and full. In addition, these holes also function as built-in handles.
The semi-transparency of the skin, or interview that reveals what is stored inside, gives depth to this structure, complemented by furniture as the chair One of Konstantin Grcic for Magis, Loop Stand table for Hay and Leif Jørgensen GloBall lamp of Jasper Morrison for Flos.
When redistributing the two plants have identified three distinct zones (see maps at end). While living on the first floor in two strips parallel a more private area, bedrooms and bathrooms, and another public-the dining room and kitchen on the upper level accommodates the master bedroom with a large bathroom and another room.
The entire apartment has been designed under the minimalist line with details such as fully integrated doors without frames and very specific palette of colors and finishing materials: pine, white epoxy on the floor, white lacquered doors and Hi-Macs acrylic stone.
