Temporary housing in the Dolomites
The Berlin designer Werner Aisslinger Fincube has created a small cottage situated in an idyllic region of South Tyrol, Italy. Overlooking the famous mountains of the Dolomites, in fact, this small building is a mobile home that can be moved anywhere. Located at 1,200 m altitude near Bolzano, the house has been built with wood from the region and other durable materials by a team of artisans Tyrolean. Its author, Werner Aisslinger, has been defined as high-tech natural Fincube is a modular home, sustainable transportation that can have multiple uses, including sustainable quality tourism.
The small house, certainly nothing alpine beauty, is a transparent cube of 360 º that is covered with a double facade of wooden shutters to protect its inhabitants from the sun and prying eyes. Supported by a small base, the building has a total of 47 m2 of living space. Its design is intended for the house to be easily dismantled and moved to a new location with a small impact on the ground thanks to the anchoring surface is only 2 m2.
The interior design of 3 m in height, is organized in a spiral: the entrance opens to a generous kitchen with adjacent living area, and turning in circles can access the private spaces of bedroom and bathroom. The house is equipped with an intelligent control system that centralizes all home automation functions in a single control panel.
